Sterling Ok. Brown is lending his voice to a well timed documentary collection.
The St. Louis native and star of NBC’s “This Is Us” is the narrator of “Lincoln: Divided We Stand,” starting subsequent month on CNN.
Via interviews and re-creations, together with images, letters and artifacts, the six-part collection explores the political profession and private lifetime of Abraham Lincoln. In a time of civil struggle, the president confronted challenges that resonate with current American historical past.
Brown gained Emmy Awards for his performances as Randall Pearson in “This Is Us” and as Christopher Darden within the FX restricted collection “The Individuals v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” His movies embrace “Black Panther” and “Marshall,” each starring the late Chadwick Boseman.
“Lincoln: Divided We Stand” premieres at 10 p.m. Japanese on Feb. 14.
